Davey Turner is an up and coming, recently turned pseudo, semi-professional illustrator and comic book creator.  Stepping out of the murky shadows of the entirely unpaid and amateur realm of illustration, he aspires to reach greatness and intends to ride the coattails of success from his marvellous first issue about robots, clowns, and bears straight to the top.  But fear not.  If clowns terrify you, as Davey has finally realized is a condition affecting about half the people he approaches, another book will be hitting local comic stores in the near future.  The one-shot, "Diacrotes the Mighty" is a single issue with three short stories about an original Greek hero, dominating a colossal serpent and even mortality itself.  So, whether you enjoy crazy science fiction style circus planets or classical high-brow snake slapping action, be sure to check out some of Davey's titles (Upside Frown #1 and Diacrotes the Mighty) here at Metropolis Comix.  You may also check out some of his work on Facebook by searching Upside Frown, or you can go to much-ado-comics.deviantart.com
